Heidegger, Martin: Hegels Phänomenologie des Geistes(Wintersemester 1930/31)
This lecture from the winter term 1930/31 contains interpretations of the sections ‘Consciousness’ and ‘Self-Consciousness’ of the ‘Phenomenology of Spirit’. Heidegger agrees with Hegel in the latter's intention eto grasp the nature of self-consciousness more deeply than Kant; on the other hand, Heidegger opposes Hegel's dialectical overcoming of the finitude of consciousness entangled in opposites with his idea of transcendence via beings to selfhood, the infinity of absolute knowledge with the finitude of transcending existence.
