Heidegger, Martin: Zu eigenen VeröffentlichungenNach den Handschriften hrsg. von Friedrich-Wilhelm v. Herrmann
Throughout his life, Heidegger has continuously commented on his own thinking. Reading and interpretation of own writings formed an intrinsic part of Heidegger´s work style, the quite self-critical orientation in moving about in the landscape of thinking. Only through pervasive deliberation of places once reached did Heidegger open new paths and prospects. Therefore, vol. 82 of the complete edition "Zu eigenen Publikationen" provides seminal insight into Heidegger's workshop. It gathers records concerning Sein und Zeit (1927), Was ist Metaphysik? (1929), Der Ursprung des Kunstwerkes (1935/36), Ἀγχιβασίη (1944/45) and Brief über den Humanismus (1946). Though most of the texts in this volume deal with Sein und Zeit, Heidegger´s examinations of the other writings also offer new approaches toward his thinking.
